Software Dev Engineer II, AWS Network Infrastructure

Join AWS Network Infrastructure team within the Global Capacity and Infrastructure Development Organization, where you'll be working on tools to improve the velocity of acquisition and deployment of AWS network infrastructure globally. The team manages an extensive network of fiber optical cables spanning 2.5 billion miles worldwide, connecting Amazon locations to one another and the global Internet.

As a Software Dev Engineer II, you'll be responsible for designing and building full-stack solutions, collaborating with creative and technical teams across Amazon, and developing novel customer experiences. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on automating network designs and fiber test reviews while maintaining high engineering standards.

The role offers an opportunity to work with Amazon's vast network infrastructure that supports various critical services including retail, Prime Video, CloudFront, Route53, AWS services, and consumer devices. You'll be part of a small but crucial team that directly impacts the global connectivity experience, setting standards for performance, availability, security, and cost.

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
