Description For Software Dev Engineer II, HSD

Join Amazon's SEO (Scheduling, Evaluation, Outcome) team within the Hiring Software Delivery organization, where you'll directly shape the future of Amazon's hiring processes. As a Software Dev Engineer II, you'll be part of building systems used by recruiters and interviewers to scale Amazon's hiring processes efficiently and accurately. The role focuses on the Evaluation and Outcome aspects of the Amazon hiring funnel, working with interviewer feedback, debrief decisions, and candidate dispositions.

You'll contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from architectural vision to continuous operational improvement. The position requires someone who maintains high standards, is deeply customer-focused, and can work effectively with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers. You'll leverage Amazon's industry-leading technologies to build systems at scale.

The team's mission is to evaluate bar-raising Amazonians with increased efficiency and accuracy, focusing on reducing time and cost to fill positions while improving hiring quality. You'll be working specifically on systems handling interviewer feedback, debrief decisions, cross-funnel candidate dispositions, and interviewer eligibility and training.
