The People eXperience and Technology (PXT) Central Science Team at Amazon uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, Machine Learning, and LLMs to improve Amazon and the lives of Amazonians. They're seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) specializing in managing large volumes of data within an MLOps/GenAIOps framework.

Key aspects of the role:

• Work with distributed, scalable, and highly available systems
• Manage Machine Learning lifecycle, including model training, validation, and debugging
• Enhance LLM responses through RAG and Prompt Engineering
• Collaborate with economists, academic scholars, and ML experts
• Build services embodying diverse scientific models
• Handle and present Big Data
• Apply advanced statistical methods

Compensation:

• Base pay ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on geographic market
