Software Development Engineer - 2, Hub Tech

Join Amazon's Lockers team, a dynamic startup-like environment within Amazon that's revolutionizing package delivery solutions. We operate a network of 50K+ Lockers across 12+ countries, delivering millions of packages monthly. We're working on groundbreaking projects, including developing lockers that can operate without internet and power connections for years.

As an SDE-2, you'll be at the forefront of technical leadership, working on multiple cutting-edge projects. You'll help build package pickup capabilities in MShop (one of the world's largest shopping apps), delivery capabilities in Rabbit (a major Carrier App), and maintenance capabilities in our Administrator App. The role involves working with firmware in RUST and developing highly scalable backend services using native AWS technologies.

The position offers unique opportunities to work with various partners, from vendors in China to Lab126 in San Francisco. You'll be part of a team that's committed to scaling 10x in the next 3 years, working on projects that will make a significant impact within a year. This role provides both breadth and depth of experience, allowing you to contribute to multiple aspects of the system while diving deep into technical challenges.

As a technical leader at Amazon, you'll help establish technical standards, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the development of high-quality, scalable systems.
