Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join their team focused on empowering skill builders to create engaging experiences for Alexa. The role is part of the Alexa Skill Builder Growth team, whose mission is to enable developers to grow their business on Alexa through intelligent web services and intuitive tools. You'll be working on cutting-edge technologies including Large Language Models (LLM) to make Alexa more natural, accurate, and conversational.

The team builds publicly available services that help skill builders drive discoverability, enable seamless interactions, and generate revenue. A key project includes the name-free interaction (NFI) Toolkit, which makes it easier for customers to find and use skills without remembering specific names. You'll be part of a close-knit team that's dedicated to providing developers with the tools and services needed to create engaging customer experiences.

Your typical day will involve morning huddles, whiteboard design discussions, project implementation, and code reviews. The team culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and pushing boundaries while maintaining a fun work environment.
