Description For Software Development Engineer - Amazon Devices, DS2 (Device Software & Services)

The Amazon Device Services organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team focused on building cross-platform software for device management and supply chain operations. This role is part of a team responsible for developing solutions that enable Device Operations and Supply Chain end-to-end, from product design through production, shipment, returns, and repairs. The team works on building full stack solutions for internal customers, including Forward and Reverse Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations, and Finance teams.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to help reinvent the supply chain with end-to-end network optimization and build an intelligent, self-learning platform for Amazon's rapidly growing devices group (including Amazon Echo, Kindle, FireTV, Ring, etc.). As a leader in the engineering group, you'll contribute to design, architecture, and implementation of supply chain applications.

Working in an agile environment, you'll collaborate with a tight-knit team using scrum methodology, participating in daily stand-ups, interacting with end users and product managers, mentoring junior developers, writing code, conducting design reviews, and driving engineering excellence improvements. The role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in developing next-generation solutions for Amazon's device organization.

This position requires strong technical skills, experience with full software development lifecycle, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
