Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT), TransferX

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is seeking a Software Development Engineer for their TransferX team, which is crucial to Amazon's worldwide fulfillment operations. This role focuses on building and maintaining systems that orchestrate inventory movement between warehouses, supporting 570+ fulfillment centers globally. The team's software enabled the transfer of 18.5 billion units in 2021, generating $1+ billion in cost savings.

As part of the TransferX team, you'll be responsible for developing core software components that manage inventory transfers between different types of warehouses (IXD to FC, FC to FC, AFT & non-AFT WMS), while ensuring accurate tracking of in-transit inventory and lead times.
