The Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility software team is at the forefront of warehouse automation, developing software for Proteus, Amazon's first fully autonomous warehouse robot. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team of Applied Scientists and Software Engineers working on cutting-edge robotics technology.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing autonomous navigation software that combines state-of-the-art sensor technologies with advanced algorithms. The team focuses on various aspects of robotics including Computer Vision, SLAM, motion planning, and controls, all aimed at enabling safe and efficient operation of autonomous mobile robots throughout Amazon's fulfillment network.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of software development experience and strong algorithmic skills. While experience in robotics, autonomous navigation, motion planning, machine learning, or control systems is advantageous, we welcome passionate engineers eager to make an impact in the robotics field. You'll work with technologies like C++ and Python, potentially utilizing ROS and AWS services.
