Amazon's Middle Mile organization is undergoing a transformative shift from external trucking partnerships to in-house management with Line Haul Service Providers (LSPs). The Trailer Path Optimization team, situated within Middle Mile Route Planning, is at the forefront of this evolution.

This team is dedicated to solving complex routing challenges at scale, developing cutting-edge algorithms and implementing large-scale solutions to optimize trailer paths across Amazon's vast network. They're building Day 1 products to route millions of freight shipments in real-time, with services handling thousands of requests per second and making decisions that impact billions of dollars annually.

As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you'll be working on sophisticated systems that manage massive datasets and complex routing decisions.
