Software Development Engineer, Amazon WebView

The Amazon WebView team is seeking a talented software development engineer to join their innovative team focused on designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the web engine for device software. As a Software Development Engineer, you'll work across the entire device software stack, utilizing both C++ and Java to build and maintain a sophisticated web engine. The position is based in either Sunnyvale, CA or Seattle, WA, as part of Amazon Lab126, which has a strong track record of creating groundbreaking devices like Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Amazon Echo. The team plays a crucial role in enabling developers to build and launch apps/in-app content, which helps customers discover, buy, and engage with applications across Echo, Fire TV, and Tablets.

The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 per year based on geographic location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical and financial benefits.
