Software Development Engineer, Amplify

AWS Amplify is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Backend team, focused on building tools and services that help front-end web and mobile developers create scalable, full-stack applications powered by AWS.

The role involves working on a comprehensive roadmap to deliver innovative features and functionality that customers need and desire. You'll be part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, which is responsible for foundational services like S3 and EC2, as well as continuous product innovations.

As a team member, you'll:

• Collaborate with product teams and other AWS teams on technical vision
• Shape technical strategy for developer-focused products
• Lead system architecture discussions and component design
• Drive core feature development and product launches
• Participate in full software development lifecycle
• Mentor junior team members and conduct interviews
