Description For Software Development Engineer, Aurora Control Plane

Amazon Aurora is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Control Plane team, working on one of AWS's fastest-growing database services. Aurora is a distributed, fault-tolerant database service that provides unparalleled performance and availability at global scale, offering full MySQL and PostgreSQL compatibility at 1/10th the cost of commercial databases.

As an SDE II on the Aurora Control Plane team, you'll be at the forefront of building hyper-scaler database services in the cloud. The role involves designing and implementing software components that impact hundreds of thousands of AWS database users. Aurora boasts impressive performance metrics, delivering 5x the throughput of MySQL and 3x of PostgreSQL.
