Software Development Engineer, AWS Fintech Data platform

AWS Financial Technology Team is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join their Fintech Data Platform team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build high-performance, globally scalable AWS Financial data platform that drives Amazon's current and future growth.

The AWS Fintech Data Platform Team powers over 30 AWS Fintech data-heavy applications across financial reporting, continuous planning, headcount management, and process automation in Finance and Accounting. As part of the fastest-growing business in Amazon, the team constantly builds new capabilities to power AWS Fintech applications.

In this role, you'll:

• Design and develop managed solutions for AWS Fintech services handling billions in global financial transactions
• Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and big data systems
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions
• Drive technical design and delivery of software components
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions
• Own systems end-to-end and influence technology direction
