AWS Fraud Prevention is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join their innovative team dedicated to protecting AWS from sophisticated cyber crime actors and crypto miners. As part of a dynamic two-pizza team within an organization of 40+ engineers, you'll be at the forefront of building high-scalable and high-performant systems for fraud detection and prevention.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale data processing and machine learning systems, focusing on detecting and shutting down fraudulent actors and preventing account compromise. You'll be joining a diverse team of 80+ professionals, including scientists, engineers, investigators, and product managers, all united by the core principle of customer obsession.

As a member of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll contribute to foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, while working on cutting-edge security solutions. The team strongly emphasizes knowledge-sharing and mentorship, providing an environment where both senior and junior engineers can thrive through one-on-one mentoring and constructive code reviews.
