Description For Software Development Engineer, AWS IAM Identity Center

AWS IAM Identity Center (IdC) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in building innovative identity and access management solutions. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing large-scale architecture initiatives that power AWS's identity federation and access management systems. You'll work at the intersection of security and user experience, building services that enable customers to manage their workforce identities and access across AWS accounts and applications.

The position offers the opportunity to work on core platforms that serve millions of users worldwide, focusing on simplifying administrative complexity in identity federation and permissions management. You'll be part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), which provides foundational services like S3 and EC2, along with continuous product innovations in Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services.

As a senior engineer, you'll collaborate with talented peers to solve complex technical challenges, design scalable systems, and implement security solutions that meet specialized customer requirements. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in building reliable, scalable services that maintain high security standards while delivering excellent user experience.
