Description For Software Development Engineer, AWS Incident Prevention

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Incident Prevention team is seeking experienced software engineers to build large-scale systems across thousands of servers and multiple data centers worldwide.

As a Software Development Engineer on the Incident Prevention team, you'll be working on critical systems development that supports AWS's industry-leading database services. This role combines hands-on development with opportunities to mentor other engineers, requiring both technical excellence and strong leadership skills.

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred)
