Software Development Engineer, AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Proactive Security Detective Tooling (PSDT) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer passionate about security-at-scale. This role is crucial in building services that discover and audit AWS-owned websites for security misconfigurations.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging web-based problems at scale, including crawling, fuzzing, user journeys, and CI/CD integration. As part of the PSDT team, you'll be responsible for the security and availability of all AWS services, including EC2, S3, and over 100 others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust large-scale distributed systems for processing security data
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers
• Drive security improvements across AWS through automation
• Work closely with Application Security, Threat Intel, Security Operations, and Security Analyst teams
• Own and deliver software solutions that maintain AWS's security posture
