Software Development Engineer, AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling

The AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling (PSDT) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer passionate about security-at-scale. This role is within the Network Security team, focusing on ensuring all network endpoints meet AWS Security standards. You'll be working on building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that monitor and protect AWS network hosts and their configurations.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies and handle massive amounts of data to prevent, detect, and mitigate security threats. You'll collaborate closely with Application Security, Threat Intel, Security Operations, and Security Analyst teams to drive security improvements across AWS's more than 100 services, including EC2 and S3.

As a technical leader, you'll be expected to challenge norms, innovate, and develop robust solutions for processing data at scale. While deep security expertise isn't required initially, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of AWS's security posture and contribute to core technology components that enhance and scale security measures.
