Software Development Engineer, AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling

The AWS Proactive Security Detective Tooling team is seeking a Software Development Engineer passionate about security-at-scale. This role is part of a critical team responsible for building and maintaining security services that monitor over 1 billion AWS resources daily. The team develops tools to protect AWS from malicious actors through prevention, detection, and mitigation of security events.

The position offers an opportunity to work with Application Security, Threat Intel, Security Operations, and Security Analyst teams to enhance AWS security. You'll be handling massive datasets and developing large-scale distributed systems for processing security-related data. The role involves pushing the boundaries of analytical techniques to identify and address security threats.

As a technical leader, you'll be expected to challenge norms, drive innovation, and mentor team members. You'll work closely with various internal teams, contributing to the security of all AWS services including EC2, S3, and over 100 others.
