Software Development Engineer, BlackWatch Core Platform

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, essentially keeping the cloud running. The Anti-DDoS team, serving as the frontline defense against DDoS threats worldwide, protects all Amazon & AWS customers and services.

The role focuses on building the next generation of the service's Control Plane infrastructure within the AWS Shield Anti-DDoS team. You'll be responsible for maintaining existing control plane infrastructure, ensuring efficient delivery of packet processing metrics, and managing the Anti-DDoS service's configuration dashboard and user interface.

The position requires expertise in computer networking and programming, particularly in Java, C, C++, and Python. You'll work on solving complex low-level networking problems, delivering new capabilities, and scaling the platform to meet growing customer needs globally.
