Software Development Engineer, CloudHSM

AWS Cryptography is looking for an experienced software developer with an interest in practical cryptography to join in building the most secure services in AWS.

The AWS Cryptography team is dedicated to providing the security features customers need, enabling them to confidently move sensitive workloads to the cloud. We offer services for encryption, key management, certificate management, secure credential storage and distribution, and more.

As a Software Development Engineer in the CloudHSM team, your responsibilities will include:

• Building a massively scalable digital security system core to all AWS services
• Owning the complete software development lifecycle
• Operating a globally distributed cryptographic security service
• Working as part of a team to develop customer solutions
• Owning one of the most secure and reliable services in AWS

You'll be part of the AWS Platform team, which sustains over 750 million transactions per second. The role offers opportunities for mentorship, career growth, and the chance to work on cutting-edge cryptography and security solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

AWS values diverse experiences and provides a range of benefits, including a comprehensive compensation package. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the geographic market and other factors.
