Software Development Engineer Co-Op - Fall 2025

Amazon Robotics is seeking innovative Software Development Engineers for their Fall 2025 Co-Op program. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com, we're at the forefront of revolutionizing fulfillment center operations through cutting-edge robotics and automation technology. Our work encompasses autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, computer vision, machine learning, and semantic understanding of commands.

Based in our state-of-the-art facilities in the Greater Boston Area (Westborough and North Reading, MA), you'll have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities. This unique opportunity allows you to work on real-world challenges that transform customer experiences through automation.

We're looking for problem-solvers who are passionate about teamwork and innovation. You'll be working with sophisticated technologies including autonomous mobile robots, control software, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, and object recognition. This role offers hands-on experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in computer science, including object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, and data structures. Experience with modern programming languages like Java, Python, C++, or C# is essential. Knowledge of optimization mathematics and experience with distributed systems would be advantageous.
