Software Development Engineer, Commerce Platform ADC

AWS Commerce Platform is seeking a talented software development engineer to join their specialized group supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community. This role focuses on implementing and operating some of the largest distributed systems in the world, specifically designed for isolated environments. The position involves working on the Commerce Platform (CP) team, which processes trillions of events monthly for bill generation, payment processing, and analytics.

The role requires working with air-gapped regions often isolated from the public internet, creating unique engineering challenges and opportunities for innovation. You'll be part of a team that enables AWS to bill and collect payments from customers even in isolated regions, while ensuring compliance with strict data protection requirements.

As part of AWS's Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll contribute to foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, while supporting customers requiring specialized security solutions. The position offers significant growth opportunities through knowledge-sharing and mentorship programs.
