Description For Software Development Engineer, Customer Engagement Technology

Amazon.com, recognized as #1 in Customer Service globally, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Customer Engagement Technologies (CET) department. This role is part of a transformative initiative to define the next generation of contact routing for Amazon Customer Service.

The CET department is responsible for enhancing customer service operations through Self-Service and Automation features, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), contact center infrastructure, and various client applications. As an SDE, you'll be working on a multi-year, large-scale enterprise software program focused on providing seamless customer support experiences.

You'll collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative services that enable business units to launch customer service features including landing pages, chat capabilities, and voice functionalities. The role involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies including machine learning systems and Generative AI (GenAI) to deliver unparalleled customer service experiences.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading global service expansion
