Software Development Engineer, Data Center Operating Systems

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Center Operating Systems team. This role is at the heart of AWS's global infrastructure, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the systems that keep the cloud running.

The position is part of the Boost team, which pioneers new functionalities and platforms for AWS's data center operations. You'll be working on the Data Center Operating System team, building systems that enable AWS to rapidly grow and maintain its position as a leader in cloud computing. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing the platforms and tools used in Data Centers to automate server and equipment lifecycle management. You'll work on building next-generation platform-level software that ensures AWS data centers run efficiently and effectively. The compensation is competitive and varies by location, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year base salary, plus equity and other benefits.
