Software Development Engineer, Digital Acceleration

Amazon Digital Acceleration is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team building mission-critical commerce systems that power all subscription and membership use cases at Amazon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) solutions that manage subscription and digital ordering lifecycles for major Amazon services like Prime and Alexa smart home subscriptions.

The position requires 3+ years of professional software development experience and strong expertise in Java, algorithms, and distributed systems. You'll be working with challenging requirements around availability, latency, and consistency while building scalable solutions for complex business problems.

As part of the Amazon Digital Acceleration team, you'll be responsible for powering ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle. The team processes billions of digital purchases annually and plays a crucial role in enabling digital businesses to grow worldwide.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on geographic location, plus potential equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
