Description For Software Development Engineer, EU Engagement Tech Team

Amazon's EU Engagement Tech team is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software applications that power Amazon's digital marketing optimization systems. As an SDE2, you'll have end-to-end project ownership, developing full-stack solutions that process massive volumes of data and capture marketing signals for analytics and measurement.

You'll work in a dynamic environment alongside UI/UX designers, product managers, and marketing professionals to create new customer experiences. The role involves building scalable software solutions, big-data platforms, and contributing to the team's technical vision through active participation in design and code reviews.

The position leverages AWS technologies extensively, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and ECS, requiring strong technical expertise in cloud computing. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment while working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, EU Engagement Tech Team

Java
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Professional software development experience (non-internship)
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (Java, C++, or C#)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
