Software Development Engineer, Finance Technology

Amazon's Financial Technology team is seeking a results-driven software development engineer to join our Software Development Center in São Paulo. This role focuses on building high-performance, globally scalable financial systems that support Amazon's current and future growth. You'll be working on creating the next generation of distributed and scalable financial systems, handling transactions worth billions (USD) annually.

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Amazon, you'll work on real-world problems at a global scale, own your systems end-to-end, and influence technology direction impacting hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

You'll have the opportunity to design flexible and scalable solutions, working on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing using your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Working in a small development team within one of our many rapidly growing organizations, you'll learn about designing, implementing, and testing highly scalable solutions using the AWS platform and its many products.

The role involves working with cutting-edge AWS technologies, including Lambda, Fargate, EMR, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RedShift, and S3.
