Join Amazon's Fire TV team as a Software Development Engineer and help shape the future of television viewing experiences. You'll be part of the FireTV 3P engineering team, chartered to bring enchanting FireTV experiences to third-party devices. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield project that will redefine how partners build their TVs on the FireTV ecosystem.

As a key member of the team, you'll have significant influence on overall strategy, helping define product features, drive system architecture, and establish best practices. You'll work on distributed software applications that impact billions of viewers and devices worldwide. Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, FireTV Devices Organization

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, systems and services
  • Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions
  • Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Work with business partners, software development engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, FireTV Devices Organization
