Software Development Engineer / Full-Stack Developer, Ring

Join Amazon Ring's camera expertise team in Tampere, Finland, as a Full-Stack Developer working on cutting-edge camera products. This role combines frontend and backend development, focusing on creating user-friendly portals for test results visualization. You'll work directly with IQ Engineers, using modern web technologies including JavaScript and Python to build and maintain testing and measurement capabilities.

The position offers unique exposure to the latest innovations in camera technology, often before they reach the market. You'll be part of Ring's "heart of imaging" team in Tampere, working alongside camera experts and having access to Amazon Ring's broader expert network. The role involves creating proof-of-concept implementations, optimizing video performance, and implementing various UI features using React.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both frontend and backend development, having strong skills in JavaScript/React for UI development and Python for backend operations. Knowledge of web security basics is essential, and experience with video manipulation or cloud services (AWS S3, Azure) is advantageous.
