Amazon's Global Benchmark Standard Audit (GBSA) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative team within Amazon Last Mile division (AMZL). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly impact Amazon's logistics operations.

As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive Amazon's business forward. You'll work on two key initiatives: developing a versatile auditing platform across multiple business units and geographies, and creating a leadership checklist for AMZL Logistics. These platforms will incorporate emerging technologies, including AI and computer vision, to enhance operational capabilities.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring you to make sound technical decisions while balancing short-term needs with long-term maintainability. You'll manage the full software development lifecycle, working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

AMZL manages the delivery of millions of packages through Delivery Stations, and your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of these operations. The GBSA team focuses on benchmarking analysis, defining operating standards, and delivering auditing mechanisms to ensure standard work adoption.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.
