Description For Software Development Engineer II - Alexa Customers & Devices

The Amazon Device Services organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team focused on building cross-platform software for device management and supply chain operations. This role sits within the Alexa, Customers and Technologies (ACT) teams, working specifically on solutions that enable Device Operations and Supply Chain end-to-end processes.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to build full-stack solutions for internal customers, including Forward and Reverse Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations, Finance, and technical teams. The team is embarking on a journey to reinvent the supply chain with end-to-end network optimization, using data to create an intelligent, self-learning platform.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be working in an agile environment using scrum methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that improve the efficiency of Amazon's device operations. Your work will directly impact the availability and delivery of Amazon's current and upcoming line of devices to customers.

The role combines technical expertise with business impact, as you'll be contributing to the design, architecture, and implementation of supply chain applications. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, participate in design reviews, and drive engineering excellence. The position offers significant growth potential within Amazon's rapidly expanding devices group.

Working with the ACT teams, you'll be part of the larger mission to make Alexa a trusted AI companion, delivering convenient and enriching experiences to customers worldwide. The role requires strong technical skills, experience with full software development lifecycle, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
