Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Devices Demand Planning Optimization

Amazon Devices Optimization Services needs a talented software engineer to join our development team in Seattle, WA. This is a high visibility role that will enhance and expand the next generation of supply chain optimization systems to scale our rapidly growing Devices business. Amazon Devices supply chain presents complex challenges driven by a diverse product portfolio (includes Alexa, kindle, ereader, Ring, Blink etc.).

You'll be working on:

• Defining features and overall product roadmap
• Owning core services and user applications
• Driving system architecture and establishing sound software development practices
• Writing code, participating in code reviews, and creating documentation
• Analyzing customer contributed data and system operational metrics to identify areas of improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
