Software Development Engineer II, AWS CloudTrail

The CloudTrail team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team. This role involves working on one of the largest audit logging systems in the world, providing AWS users visibility into user activity and resource changes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining system architecture and implementing specific components
• Building highly available, secure, scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems
• Contributing to planning, architecture design, implementation, testing, and process improvement
• Participating in on-call responsibilities (typically one week every two months)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software language
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle
