Software Development Engineer II, Data Center Systems Automation (DCSA)

The Data Center Systems and Automation Storage Media Automated Secure Handling (SMASH) team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to build next-generation automation systems. You'll be part of a team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed systems providing availability, scalability, and latency guarantees.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions that control and operate smart devices to ensure media is software auditable through its lifecycle
• Create software solutions using Boost to automate the validation of work by technicians and security personnel
• Collaborate with highly technical cross-functional teams
• Excel in ambiguous situations and work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with new and existing systems
• Experience programming in at least one software programming language
• Full software development life cycle experience is preferred

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the geographic market. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package and values total compensation.
