The role focuses on developing the tax platform that handles calculations and invoice generation for Amazon's global sales operations. You'll be working on systems that process millions of requests per minute and manage hundreds of millions of records.

The position offers the opportunity to work with AWS cloud services, designing and implementing distributed systems that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions annually. As an SDE, you'll own your systems end-to-end and influence technology decisions that impact hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. The role demands expertise in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, with a focus on building flexible and scalable solutions using AWS cloud platform.

Working in an agile environment, you'll collaborate with talented engineers, participate in code reviews, and maintain high quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
