Description For Software Development Engineer II, FireTV 3p Devices

Amazon's FireTV 3P Devices team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to help build delightful FireTV products for customers and partners. This role focuses on Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development and is part of a mission to create high-quality TV experiences that will impact billions of viewers and devices.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on greenfield projects, developing tools and technologies that will redefine how third-party partners build their TVs on the FireTV ecosystem. You'll be part of a team that independently owns and delivers end-to-end product journeys for partners, with numerous exciting launches planned ahead.

As an SDE II, you'll have significant influence on overall strategy, helping define product features, drive system architecture, and establish best practices. The role involves working closely with business partners and engineering teams, designing and implementing complex software applications, and mentoring junior engineers.

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
