Description For Software Development Engineer II, MDAM

Amazon Prime Video and Studios is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for their Marketing Digital Asset Management (MDAM) team. This role is crucial in building and maintaining a proprietary digital media supply chain that handles marketing assets for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios across 32 global locales. The position involves working with cutting-edge AWS technologies to develop highly scalable systems that manage billions of artwork, images, trailers, and marketing assets.

The role offers an opportunity to shape the future of streaming content delivery while working with a brand new 2-pizza team based in LA. You'll be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and reliable services that handle various aspects of media file management, from ingest to distribution. The architecture leverages advanced AWS technologies including AVP, DynamoDB, Aurora, Open Search, and various other AWS services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a solid computer science foundation who enjoys building large-scale, high-performance systems. You'll be working in an agile environment, collaborating with experienced cross-disciplinary teams, and contributing to fundamental changes in the industry.

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and comprehensive medical coverage.
