Software Development Engineer II, Proactive Security Builder Experience (PSBX)

As a Software Development Engineer in the Proactive Security Builder Experience (PSBX) organization within AWS Security, you'll be part of the API Security Testing and Automation team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Building services that solve complex, ambiguous problems at the scale of the AWS cloud
• Designing and developing highly scalable systems for detecting security issues in software and triggering campaigns to drive remediation of security problems
• Rapidly prototyping and incubating new security features and solutions
• Working closely with other internal development teams across various AWS services to coordinate security improvements
• Delivering high-quality solutions in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift
• Learning about emerging security threats and implementing systems to protect AWS from them

You'll have the opportunity to whiteboard solutions with senior engineers and code features and services end-to-end. This is a highly visible role within a highly visible program at AWS, providing significant opportunity to make a big impact and deliver secure solutions for our customers.
