Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a Software Development Engineer II on the Builder Operations and tools team, you'll be responsible for build systems, developer experience, devops, CICD infrastructure, and Artifact Storage Service.

You'll need experience in system design of backend services, along with advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services infrastructure. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or GoLang is required. The role involves participating in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and security to operations.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge satellite technology while solving complex software challenges. You'll be designing and implementing a wide range of software using AWS stack, sometimes requiring partnership with low-level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites.
The ideal candidate should be able to disambiguate high levels of ambiguity and unknowns, design flexible solutions, and succeed within an open, collaborative environment.
