Amazon's SEO (Scheduling, Evaluation, Outcome) team, part of the Hiring Software Delivery organization, is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to help shape the future of Amazon's hiring processes. This role focuses on building systems used by recruiters and interviewers to scale Amazon's hiring processes efficiently and accurately.
As an SDE II, you'll be working specifically on the Evaluation and Outcome components of the Amazon hiring funnel within the Amazon Hire product. Your work will directly impact interviewer feedback systems, debrief decisions, cross-funnel candidate dispositions, and interviewer eligibility and training. The team's mission is to evaluate bar-raising Amazonians with improved efficiency and accuracy while reducing time and cost to fill positions.
In this role, you'll contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from architectural vision to continuous operational improvements. You'll leverage Amazon's industry-leading technologies to build systems at scale, working closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to drive business decisions and promote operational excellence.
