Software Development Engineer II, Weblab WeX

Amazon Weblab is at the heart of billions of dollars in product decisions. Your favorite feature on the Amazon.com website or our iOS and Android apps was probably tested and launched using Weblab. Teams including Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Alexa use Weblab every day to change how the world shops, sells, reads, learns, and plays.

As a Software Development Engineer II for Weblab WeX, you will:

• Leverage your knowledge and passion for mobile solutions to design and innovate on fault-tolerant, high-traffic systems that enable experimentation at Amazon.
• Work with architectures that handle trillions of requests a day.
• Use technologies such as xCode, Android Studio, Swift, and Kotlin in the iOS and Android spaces to deliver SDKs.
• Influence and participate in building mobile cross-platform solutions in Rust and integrating with AWS technologies.
• Create, design, build, and contribute to architectural decisions that matter.
• Solve how experimentation is managed and vended to all of Amazon safely.
• Build massive-scale and high-performance systems, with a bias for delivering simple solutions to complex problems.
• Innovate to provide new A/B comparison functionality for mobile systems.
• Add support for Weblab at the edge.
• Develop new features to improve the safety of launches using Weblab.
• Use the Rust programming language to create systems-level functionality that spans mobile, backend, and desktop services.

You'll be part of an engineering-centric team with high standards, where engineers directly influence the product roadmap. The team fosters a culture of open collaboration, continuous learning, and raising the bar.
