Software Development Engineer III, Employee Services Tech

Amazon's Amazonian Experience and Technology (AET) team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their mission of making Amazon "Earth's Best Employer and Earth's Safest Place to Work." This role is central to developing and maintaining technology that powers Amazon's human capital management, including critical business applications for payroll, benefits, time and attendance, disability and leaves, hiring, immigration, learning, and health and safety.

The position offers an opportunity to work on systems that impact millions of Amazonians across 62 countries, supporting 30+ languages through the HR contact center. You'll be responsible for creating consistent, frustration-free benefits and HR experiences for employees, developing personalized and contextual systems that handle various HR service needs.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be working on solutions that scale across 60+ countries, dealing with varying levels of regulatory and compliance requirements. The role involves building and extending Amazon's platforms to deliver superior employee experiences, from benefits election to day-to-day HR interactions.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on geographic location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical coverage.
