Description For Software Development Engineer III, Prime Video Content Localization and Accessibility

Prime Video is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Content Localization & Accessibility team. This role is crucial in making Prime Video the most inclusive streaming platform globally. The team is responsible for delivering content in 32 UI languages and providing accessibility features like closed captions, audio descriptions, and dialogue boost assists. You'll work on innovative GenAI solutions to generate multi-lingual and accessibility assets at scale, while building robust supply-chain automation and workflow management tools.

The position offers the opportunity to work on systems that operate at Amazon-scale, supporting thousands of device types across 200+ territories. You'll be part of Prime Video's mission to acquire and retain 100MM international customers in the next 3 years. The role involves working with state-of-the-art technology to solve complex challenges in content localization and accessibility.

As a senior engineer, you'll lead design and architecture decisions, mentor team members, and drive technical excellence. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software development, system design, and team leadership.
