Software Development Engineer III, Prime Video Content Localization and Accessibility

Prime Video is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Content Localization & Accessibility team. This role is crucial in making Prime Video the most inclusive streaming platform globally. You'll be working on innovative solutions using GenAI to generate multi-lingual and accessibility assets at scale, supporting 32 UI languages. The team is responsible for delivering features like closed captions, audio descriptions, and the industry-first Dialogue boost assist.

The position involves working with Amazon's large-scale architecture that powers Prime Video's streaming service across thousands of device types in over 200 territories. You'll be instrumental in developing solutions that improve playback reliability, video start time, and image quality while ensuring content accessibility for international customers.

As a senior engineer, you'll lead the design and implementation of supply-chain automation, workflow management tools, and optimized human-in-the-loop solutions.
