IMDb, an Amazon company, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their Privacy and Identity team. As the world's leading movie and TV content platform with over 250 million monthly visitors, IMDb offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical identity and privacy features.

In this role, you'll design and build services powering essential features across web and mobile applications, focusing on account management and identity technology implementation.   • Develop new features for IMDb, collaborating with engineering team, customers, product managers, legal, and Amazon teams
  • Own features through entire lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production
  • Build foundational infrastructure and services to support teams across IMDb
  • Maintain high quality bar for code and customers
  • Identify ways to improve existing processes and services

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, IMDb Privacy and Identity Team

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design/architecture experience with patterns, reliability and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Strong background in system and API design
