Amazon's India Consumer Business (ICB) Technology team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their India Accounting Engineering team. This role is crucial in building products and services that address the unique accounting and finance needs in Amazon's fastest-growing marketplace, India and Emerging Markets. The team is responsible for developing systems and workflows that automate and simplify the booking of Financial/Accounting events across Amazon India and Emerging Market business launches. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including AWS and EC2, to build highly scalable solutions that handle complex accounting and financial requirements across different geographies.

As an SDE, you'll lead the design and development of configuration-driven, self-service capable platforms that handle real-time business events and translate them into financial events. You'll collaborate with various teams, including Fulfillment Services, Taxes, Retail Systems, Marketplace Systems, and Financial Systems, making this role perfect for someone who enjoys cross-functional collaboration.
