Software Development Engineer, K8s - EKS

The EKS Clusters team is responsible for the lifecycle management of clusters and integrations that enable customers to innovate with containers on Kubernetes. We're seeking a Software Development Engineer for a new team within EKS Clusters, focusing on integrations to enable AWS services like Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon EMR, and AWS Marketplace to build unique experiences for AWS customers in partnership with EKS. The team is also responsible for enhancing EKS workflows through integration with existing EKS micro-services.

As part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll support the development and management of various AWS services, including Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps. This role offers the opportunity to operate and engineer systems at scale, provide technical leadership, and influence strategies to delight customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver software features and improvements to major portions of your team's software
• Design software solutions to enable new features or improve existing software
• Make priority tradeoffs between new feature development and operational work
• Collaborate with and influence other AWS service teams to provide integrations for Kubernetes customers
