Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites aimed at providing high-speed broadband internet to underserved communities worldwide. As a Software Development Engineer on the Kuiper Payload Radio team, you'll be at the forefront of space technology, developing critical communication systems that connect satellites with ground terminals and internet gateways.

The role involves architecting and developing sophisticated software systems that manage satellite communications, power systems, and hardware interfaces. You'll work on essential functions including commanding, telemetry, power control, and autonomous capabilities that support satellites throughout their entire lifecycle - from launch to de-orbit.
