Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As a Software Development Engineer on the Atlas team, you'll be at the heart of this revolutionary project, building critical infrastructure that powers the entire satellite network.

The role involves creating sophisticated systems for handling vast amounts of satellite telemetry data, developing real-time monitoring solutions, and ensuring mission-critical reliability. Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Telemetry and Command

  • Create systems for ingesting, processing, and visualizing satellite telemetry data
  • Build real-time monitoring systems to identify anomalies and detect emerging trends

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Telemetry and Command

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
